The 26-year-old model and on-again-off-again girlfriend of Chris Brown opened up about "fighting a battle" for his heart, with ex Rihanna and her "14 million fans."
"I've never dated a celebrity before," she said on "Just Keke," set to air Wednesday. "It was very new to me."
The pressures that come with celebrity were something Tran had never dealt with before. So the public scrutiny about her love affair with Brown was overwhelming.

Karrueche Tran opened up about her love triangle with Chris Brown and Rihanna.

"In this case, my boyfriend is a celebrity, whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger … you know what I'm saying," she said. "Not only am I fighting a battle with her, I'm fighting a battle with her 14 million fans. So imagine how that feels for me."
The attacks on her character through social media were not only unexpected, but something she didn't know how to ignore.
"They make up all kinds of crazy stuff and they know nothing about me," she said of RiRi's devotees.

Still, "it's the case of the ex," and Tran understands why their love triangle is so widely watched.
"We all go through it," she added. "The reason why people tuned into this so much is because it's relatable."
When Tran fell for Brown, being in the spotlight was not something she wanted. For her, it was a heartfelt situation that often came with sadness.

"The heartbreak, because it was a real situation," she said tearing up when host Keke Palmer asked what the hardest part of it all was.
Current reports point to Tran and Brown, 25, being off, so it's unclear whether the talk show interview took place before or after their most recent split.
"Because I stay so mute sometimes, that leaves open space for them to say whatever they want," she said on the show.
Rumors indicate that their split came after the "Don't Judge Me" singer posted a racy photo of Tran on Friday showing off her backside in a thong.
"The difference between you and I is that my love is unwavering," Tran posted on Instagram Sunday. "You have shattered my heart, but you have not shattered my love."
